Terms of Service

By using utube ("the app") you agree to these terms.

1. What the app is. The app is a client that browses YouTube content through the YouTube Data API and plays videos with the official YouTube embedded player. All video content belongs to its respective owners and is provided by YouTube; the app does not host, copy, or store any video or audio file.
2. YouTube Terms. Using the app means you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy. The app uses YouTube API Services.
3. Your account. Signing in with Google is optional. When you sign in, actions you take in the app (likes, subscriptions, playlist changes) are performed on your own YouTube account and are your responsibility.
4. Acceptable use. You may not use the app to circumvent YouTube's technical measures, to download or redistribute content, or in any way that violates YouTube's terms or applicable law.
5. No warranty. The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Features depend on YouTube's services and may stop working when those services change.
6. Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the app.
7. Changes. These terms may be updated; the current version is always published at this address.
